How to Use Positive Affirmations

Going through our day we have so many thoughts, opinions and ideas and it can feel very overwhelming. This can subconsciously affect our mental health by tainting the way we see ourselves. Here are some suggestions of positive affirmations that can help to reclaim your thoughts and put a positive spin on your day. We are all subject to off days. But these short affirmations can help to shift any negativity. It is important that we take control of our thoughts as it can help to result in a healthier life and ultimately help us to be the best version of ourselves.

Here are three examples of positive affirmations that you can use:

1. I AM DOING BETTER THAN I THINK I AM

We have a tendency to be tough on ourselves, which can lead to us focusing on the negative things that may be happening. Instead, refocus your attention on the things that are going well. My focus is not on my failures - I choose to pay attention to my wins.

2. MY FUTURE IS BRIGHT, AND MY BEST DAYS ARE STILL TO COME.

Believing in a fruitful tomorrow will always open windows of opportunity and growth.

3. I AM STRONG ENOUGH TO FACE WHAT'S IN FRONT OF ME.

You are powerful! It is so important to know that you are strong enough to face anything that lies ahead.
